My best considered evaluation of the immediate future:

While no one knows exactly what lies ahead of us, I think it is best to be prepared – not only spiritually, but also physically and materially. I doubt that even the-powers-that-be know everything. We do know they have built extensive undergrounds and since they seem reluctant to share whatever knowledge they do have, we continue on alone to try to understand exactly what is going on with our heliosphere and our changing Space Weather.

The center of our galaxy is emitting blasts of energy, cosmic and gamma rays. Cosmic dust, also fluff and ribbons exist in interstellar space and are either already here, or are reported on their way to our atmosphere. These energies appear to be affecting and altering our entire heliosphere. The Sun itself is also being affected and appears to be on its way into a state of dormancy, thereby reducing its magnetic field and the winds now known to protect the earth from assaults originating beyond and outside our magnetosphere.

Without the Sun’s magnetic powers, there will be weaker solar winds that more normally drive away these potentially pernicious forces, which are thrust from the Galactic Center. Left unprotected, our earth will be exposed and more vulnerable to whatever solar storms and CMEs that remain in Solar Cycle 24; and also to cosmic & gamma rays, and this cosmic dust. We have been repeatedly warned about this threat by astrophysicists who study this phenomenon.

If we survive the remaining Solar Storms in 2012-13, we will still be unprotected by the solar winds and these ‘dust’ particles, which come from the direction of the galactic center [Paul LaVioletta], will settle in our upper atmosphere and create cloud cover, which will inevitably bring on the decrease in temperature and another cyclical Ice Age.

I believe these solar events may begin in late June and will continue through 2012-15. They will affect various locations on of the planet quite differently. Some areas will be spared, while others will face utter catastrophe. Be prepared for the unknown!

Individuals will also be affected relative to their capacity to receive these energies and use them to evolve. There is nothing to fear. This is a very normal process of renewal. Earth’s galactic center is our Mother, and she creates everything in this our galaxy. The only Refuge is a higher consciousness, the God-within that pervades and permeates All.

Data on http://wattsupwiththat.com shows the magnetic field of sun declining dramatically with each of the last 3 solar cycles.

Solar cycles consist of periods of higher sunspot activity and lower or no sunspot activity over an 11-year period. Sometimes, for reasons that are poorly understood, sunspot activity will be severely reduced for long periods, and the earth suffers global cooling.

It would appear that we are entering such a period. Sunspot Cycle 25 predicates a period of global cooling, and possibly a mini ice age like the Maunder Minimum.

Matt Penn and William Livingston of the National Solar Observatory produced papers from observations over a long period showing a projected decline of sunspot activity.

Frank Hill at the National Solar Observatory found high-speed jet streams of solar material form at high latitudes and migrate towards the sun's equator and tend to spawn sunspots.

New jets should have started forming in 2008 for the next solar cycle but it hasn't happened yet (2012) so it isn't happening now in preparation for the next solar cycle.

Hence, his observations confirm Penn and Livingston’s observations from an independent source.

Finally, Richard Altrock of the US Air Force observed in 40 year's data the magnetic structures in the sun's corona "rush to the poles" in preparation for the next solar cycle, but it isn't happening this time - again confirming Penn and Livingstone's observations.

Teams of scientists are studying the mechanism for global cooling and the onset of an ice age. One hypothesis is as follows:

The sun generates a solar wind.

The solar wind, streaming out from the sun, is deflected around the Earth by the ionosphere.

Cosmic ray blasts from space are deflected by the solar wind, by the ionosphere, and by the atmosphere, and very few cosmic particles reach the surface of the earth where us humans puddle around.

When the solar wind dies, during a period of low or no sunspot activity, more cosmic particles reach the surface of earth.

In a little understood process, cosmic particles hitting the atmosphere above ground level especially in the 300'-1000' create clouds that cool the earth and cause rain.

Less solar wind = more cloud cover & rain.

What is a bit of a worry is that the sunspot count has reduced but the umbrae of the largest sunspots has increased, implying that very large CMEs could occur towards the end of the solar cycle, and some scientists have moved the end of the current solar cycle up to June, 2012 - that's now, isn't it?

Also there seems to be the idea that some of these cosmic particles may be carrying radiation [bucky balls?] that breathed over time may get into our lungs and blood cells and cause conditions similar to radiation sickness.

I believe this warrants the suggestion that you buy some kind of protective mask that you can wear to filter the air you breath. In my view a protective air respiratory mask would be worth the money. You might be very glad you had this either for Fukushima and any other radiation you might be exposed to, or periodic intrusions of potentially toxic cosmic particles. These days who knows? And please do stock up on lots of canned and dried food; also think about a fresh supply of clean water.

Paul LaVioletta: Ulysses spacecraft observed that a wind of interstellar dust is presently blowing into the solar system from the direction of the Galactic center. In addition the rate of this dust influx is modulated by the phase of the solar cycle. “At times when the Sun is at solar maximum, sunspot maximum, the interplanetary magnetic filed becomes more turbulent and allows interstellar dust particles to penetrate more easily.” [Earth Under Fire, Humanity’s Survival of the ice Age]

A strong, highly-tilted interstellar magnetic field near the Solar System

Magnetic fields play an important (sometimes dominant) role in the evolution of gas clouds in the Galaxy, but the strength and orientation of the field in the interstellar medium near the heliosphere has been poorly constrained. Previous estimates of the field strength range from 1.8–2.5 μG and the field was thought to be parallel to the Galactic plane1 or inclined by 38–60° (ref. 2) or 60–90° (ref. 3) to this plane. These estimates relied either on indirect observational inferences or modelling in which the interstellar neutral hydrogen was not taken into account. Here we report measurements of the deflection of the solar wind plasma flows in the heliosheath4 to determine the magnetic field strength and orientation in the interstellar medium. We find that the field strength in the local interstellar medium is 3.7–5.5 μG. The field is tilted ~20–30° from the interstellar medium flow direction (resulting from the peculiar motion of the Sun in the Galaxy) and is at an angle of about 30° from the Galactic plane. We conclude that the interstellar medium field is turbulent or has a distortion in the solar vicinity.

Planetophysical State of the Earth & Life, by Dr. Alexy N. Dmitriev

Current PlanetoPhysical alterations of the Earth are becoming irreversible. Strong evidence exists that these transformations are being caused by highly charged material and energetic non-uniformity's in anisotropic interstellar space, which have broken into the interplanetary area of our Solar System. This "donation" of energy is producing hybrid processes and excited energy states in all planets, as well as the Sun.

Effects here on Earth are to be found in the acceleration of the magnetic pole shift, in the vertical and horizontal ozone content distribution, and in the increased frequency and magnitude of significant catastrophic climatic events. There is growing probability that we are moving into a rapid temperature instability period similar to the one that took place 10,000 years ago. The adaptive responses of the biosphere, and humanity, to these new conditions may lead to a total global revision of the range of species and life on Earth. It is only through a deep understanding of the fundamental changes taking place in the natural environment surrounding us that politicians, and citizens a like, will be able to achieve balance with the renewing flow of PlanetoPhysical states and processes.

INTRODUCTION

Current, in process, geological, geophysical, and climatical alterations of the Earth are becoming more, and more, irreversible. At the present time researchers are revealing some of the causes which are leading to a general reorganization of the electro-magnetosphere (the electromagnetic skeleton) of our planet, and of its climatic machinery. A greater number of specialists in climatology, geophysics, planetophysics, and heliophysics are tending towards a cosmic causative sequence version for what is happening. Indeed, events of the last decade give strong evidence of unusually significant heliospheric and planetophysic transformations [1,2]. Given the quality, quantity, and scale of these transformations we may say that:

The climatic and biosphere processes here on Earth (through a tightly connected feedback system) are directly impacted by, and linked back to, the general overall transformational processes taking place in our Solar System. We must begin to organize our attention and thinking to understand that climatic changes on Earth are only one part, or link, in a whole chain of events taking place in our Heliosphere.

These deep physical processes, these new qualities of our physical and geological environment, will impose special adaptive challenges and requirements for all life forms on Earth. Considering the problems of adaptation our biosphere will have with these new physical conditions on Earth, we need to distinguish the general tendency and nature of the changes.

As we will show below, these tendencies may be traced in the direction of planet energy capacity growth (capacitance), which is leading to a highly excited or charged state of some of Earth's systems. The most intense transformations are taking place in the planetary gas-plasma envelopes to which the productive possibilities of our biosphere are timed. Currently this new scenario of excess energy run-off is being formed, and observed:

In the ionosphere by plasma generation.

In the magnetosphere by magnetic storms.

In the atmosphere by cyclones.

This high-energy atmospheric phenomena, which was rare in the past, is now becoming more frequent, intense, and changed in its nature. The material composition of the gas-plasma envelope is also being transformed.

It is quite natural for the whole biota of the Earth to be subjected to these changing conditions of the electromagnetic field, and to the significant deep alterations of Earth's climatic machinery. These fundamental processes of change create a demand within all of Earth's life organisms for new forms of adaptation. The natural development of these new forms may lead to a total global revision of the range of species, and life, on Earth.

New deeper qualities of life itself may come forth, bringing the new physical state of the Earth to an equilibrium with the new organismic possibilities of development, reproduction, and perfection. In this sense it is evident that we are faced with a problem of the adaptation of humanity to this new state of the Earth; new conditions on Earth whose biospheric qualities are varying, and non-uniformly distributed. Therefore the current period of transformation is transient, and the transition of life's representatives to the future may take place only after a deep evaluation of what it will take to comply with these new Earthly biospheric conditions.

Each living representative on Earth will be getting a thorough "examination," or "quality control inspection," to determine it's ability to comply with these new conditions. These evolutionary challenges always require effort, or endurance, be it individual organisms, species, or communities. Therefore, it is not only the climate that is becoming new, but we as human beings are experiencing a global change in the vital processes of living organisms, or life itself; which is yet another link in the total process. We cannot treat such things separately, or individually.
